In “Assyrians and Seyfo”, I tried to reveal the last hundred years of social process. In our country, there has not been a big change from the past to the present day in terms of Syriacs, Armenians and other Christians. The sufferings of the past, Seyfo's great pain, are still officially denied. In 1914, the number of Assyrians living in the Turabdin region alone was more than two hundred thousand, while decreased to two thousand after a hundred years. What happened to those people? Where and why did those people go? It is time to respect these sufferings and to treat the events of the past with open heart, reason, logic and a clear conscience. “Assyrians and Seyfo’s” development of peace culture in our country; brotherhood, friendship and confidence; cleansing our personal and social subconscious; I wrote to our own conscience, so that we could look at each other and the face of the world without hesitation. I will be very happy if this work, which takes about a third of my writing life, can contribute to the relief of unhealthy suffering for a hundred years, to the development of sincere, honest, common sense relations between Muslims and Christians, Assyrians and Kurds and Turks, to the sprouting of mutual respect and love, and sharing of suffering.
